First biking experience

We've all got to start somewhere, but why something that looks like a Norton... this smack so of late great-grandfathers influence.... they're going to be as daft as me :o ;D

First - What's wrong with Nortons Mark?

Second - When my son was 4 I used to ride with him on the tank between my arms, with helmet btw. I knew it was time to go home when 'the helmet' fell over on my arm.

He always went to sleep before we got home. Now he has his fourth bike, a Harley.

Harley? Tractors masquerading as motorbikes ;D ;D ;D
I've always been a Jap missile rider, my uncle restores classic bikes but for going to the shops he has a Kwaka, I think that tells you all you need to know ;)

Most people think that flying a plane is dangerous, except pilots because they know how easy it is.
Arguing with a pilot is like wrestling with a pig in the mud, after a while you begin to think the pig likes it.

A bit like Will Rogers, I never met a motorcycle I didn't like. But I do like some better than others. I've ridden Harleys, Hondas, Yamahas, Kawasakis, Cushman Eagles, and a Vespa.

The one I liked best was my 1979 Yamaha XS11, with the GPZ1100 Police Bike a close second. If I had more money than sense, I would have one Harley, one BMW, one Ducati, and one Yamaha.  ::) ;D

If I won EuroMillions I'd have a Ducati 916 SPS, Kawasaki ZXR750J1 (in metallic blue), BMW R1200GS, BMW R1000SS and a Harley Fat Boy (hey it is good enough for the Terminator) to impress all my idiot relatives who know nothing about bikes ;D ;D ;D
And maybe a Triumph Speed Triple for the sheer madness 8-)

Sounds good to me, especially the BMWR1200GS and the Ducati. :)
