The first shot is very cool. Does the runway intersect the road at the end? That's not something we see very often here. I don't think many people will be running that red light.  ;D

That airport might not have a runway crossing a road, but this one does.

Great shots...wonderful.... :)

If it was an Amphibious Aircraft they would just taxi up the ramp and onto the ramp area. I believe the lights can be controlled by the Ground Controller like they are here.

Just to the left - The Flying Beaver - one of my favorite places... especially in the summer.... sit out on the patio and have a burger and a few beers and watch the floatplanes all day....  8-)
