Deptford Down: Lynxes

Postby Mictheslik » Thu May 28, 2009 4:44 pm

Having scrubbed the trip to Wales due to hill fog (which eventually led to no movements :P), we decided to head to Salisbury Plain. The original plan was to spend a couple of hours on Deptford (a mown airstrip surrounded by a bridleway and no fences....it's basically a field which helicopters use) before heading to Everleigh and other sites used by helicopters. However, we recieved some information which made us change our minds (see another thread, probably posted tomorrow :P)

Anyway....we were greeted by blazing sun and a gaggle of Lynxes, including the boscombe one with the random orange probe atachment....

Fantastic. I have not seen many Lynxes in photos lately. These are great. ;)
