Citabria fun

Postby flyboy 28 » Sun Oct 26, 2008 7:26 pm

After a few minutes of standing around, Mike asked if I wanted to go up with him on the tow. He didn't even have to finish his sentence before I said yes. :) Did one tow to 3,000 feet, returned back to do Sean's tow [final tow of the day] and then called it a night. The sun had already set by the time we both landed.

All set.

I believe this was after the release, heading back for the last tow.

A nice overview of 47N as we enter the pattern with a sharp, 4-g 180

Wonderful stuff! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

If I ever get back on your side of the Pond this is one place I'll be sure to visit.

We should pass a hat around to buy you a round-trip ticket... you could spend the whole summer, and sleep on the sofa in the "man cave" in the Citabria hangar, so you won't miss a thing. ;D

If and when you do make that trip, you'll likely get a ride in the towplane before I do... (grumble)... >:(

Sure was a nice sunset for my last of the day- I was so distracted by that beautiful "meatball" sinking into the hills that I forgot to call "200 feet!" and got a whack on the head for it. :D

BTW, James: did you get any stick time?

I called dibs on that when I get out of the navy. So don't stay too long. :P

World's smallest violin, dude. ;D

Thought about asking, but Mike seemed in a rush to get back down for your tow. Plus I was too busy trying to fix my blasted autofocus. ::)

Nice shots squid!  Looks like you had a better weekend than me!  (sitting at home flying flightsim...cue the tiny violin)

;)

After Hagar gets his turn, I would appreciate a hat passed around for me too, I am always envious of these weekend pics at 47!!!!  Remember to "support" your troops  ;D  And by support I mean take me for a ride  ;D

You are indeed a worthy foe.

I just thank God every day that you and I are on the same side. ;D
