Steelhead Fishing

Postby Roughrider » Sun Oct 12, 2008 9:07 am

Went to Erie, Pennsylvania yesterday and I figured there probably wasn't anyone here that has ever gone Steelhead fishing, so I thought I would take you along. Enjoy the shots, and please comment, Mark

What a beautiful day, I think I had more fun with the camera than the fishing.

Nice shots, Mark. I've never been fly fishing. Never thought I'd have the paitence to make my own fly. :)

Also, all the way from Pittsburgh to Erie for fishing? Must be a good place.

James, I was not fly fishing, Mrs. Roughrider was. She Caught one. I was just casting an egg sac on a bobber and letting it float throught the middle of them. But they are to smart, when the water is low and clear they can see you just as well as we see them, and they will not hit anything, thats why I gave up and got the camera out. Also My brother in law lives in Erie, so its a visit and fishing on the same trip, we can get there in 2 hours.  Mark
