AUS & SAN

Postby AMDDDA » Mon Aug 11, 2008 2:49 pm

Well, during the time at KAUS and KSAN, I had a few chances to see some planes, due to the fact we got at AUS 2 hours early! Shame that I got a crappy pic of the best plane I saw there, a T-6 Harvard :(. But I did manage to get a good shot of a Gulfstream G200, which I saw on FlightAware has been VERY busy lately. Not to mention a plane that almost scratched a building.

It's like a flashback to my time wandering around KSAN trying to find the perfect spot... ;D
If you go up the hill there, they seem much closer.

That's a T-34 BTW. ;)

Hey, cool stuff! I used to love driving by there. My Grandmother lived up the hill from KSAN, and I'd always watch the planes landing. Was lucky enough to see a British Airways 747 coming in on several occasions! I lived out by Gillespie, and saw all kinds of stuff fly out of there! It was so relaxing to hang out there and watch the planes land and takeoff!

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.
