Mass Ascent

The first mass ascent of this year's balloon fiesta has just passed to the south of my house. Unfortunately many were a bit too far away...but hey, that's the wind for you ....and I just missed the fire extinguisher and the Ikea Heart . I went in thinking they had all gone over, only to look at the webcam at the launch site to find they were still going up...I go back out and see a handle disappear behind a house  >:(

Looking at pics from Ashton Court it would appear the monster went up aswell......damn

Looking good, like most of the above, i was wondering about that as well  8-)

Just hoping the forecasters are correct for sunday, going upto the site then with the rest of the family, hopefully new telephoto lense attached to get some ground shots and so forth, but with more zoom than before.

It took me a second or two to work out what that damn thing hanging off the envelope of G-CBHW was, then i realised it was a camera  ;)
