We were treated to one Merlin that day, and the P-51 showed just what it could do.

Had I not missed the tail end out, this would have made a fantastic photo. We were a good 20 metres behind the crowdline when I snapped this (heading away from the crowdline so we weren't blown away!). I looked up and saw the Mustang growl overhead, certainly over the top of the crowd at the line, then swing left and land on the shorter RWY, into wind. Quite cool!
The last shot featured, the Yak-52, put on a good display.
