Workin' another ride.......

For the regulars around here, you all know I seem to get a bit lucky but I never forget about my friends who've gone and got a ride and brought back a story or two. I know, I know, I've messed up sometimes by not taking the stick, but as a true photog, I try to get the shots to the extent that I may have missed some opportunities. Well today, I ran into a friend who I've met through work and talked about flying and things. I already knew he has more than just his fair share of flying machines........one is a pristine Chipmunk and the other is this fine example of a..........well, you'll know by just looking at these two teasers......
He was telling me he just had a smoke system installed and was wondering if I could possibly hook him up with a source of used ATF. I just happen to run across lots of this stuff and I suggested that all he need do is provide me with a jerry can or two and we'll discuss price at a later date.......Hmmmmm.......I wonder.........

Not sure if this one tips it off, but the next one just might, for the experienced,.....Doug, Sean, etc.,

I think that's a mistake. I always try to take my little pocket camera along on a flight but often miss the best photos when I'm offered the controls. I make sure it's carefully stowed before doing aerobatics. You don't get that opportunity every day so make the most of it.
