Open cockpit; radial engine; TWO wings !  :o 8-) :)

The only thing that would frighten me about all that; is the over-powering urge to land it, and eventually solo   :D

Is it strictly rides ?  ... Or does he instruct, too ?

Priceless logbook entry  8-)

Officially, it's just rides... which is why he said "you can put that in your logbook", not "I'll endorse your logbook"... getting the front hole to myself, and the stick in place, was a total fluke.
I still think my "Golden Age Air Museum" T-shirt is what made it possible, along with the fact that they used to be based in Skaneatles, NY. ;D
It's possible he does training in it, although jeez, it would cost about as much as twin time. That big radial is very thirsty, and the insurance...!!  :o

There's a Stearman at Andover that is used for dual and it's $200/hr.

Which I might do at some point, if they're willing to let me try to land it... or maybe a couple of loops... ;D

Well done Sean...Congrats... :)

Looks like the weather is great the way you are dressed.  We had to put on our coats here today and they had snow the other side of Toronto yesterday.

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

The weather is already summer-like down there on the Carolina shores; it was  nice. The water's still quite cold, though.

Yeah *sigh*... it's kinda like this 310 that's at my disposal.. In order to get to the point where I could confidently (an competently) just up and fly it, I'd have invested enough into dual time, to buy a new car  :o

And that's just the start..  iffin you don't fly planes like that regularly, you can't make use of them ..  Sooooo... it amounts to a new car up front, and a mortgage payement to stay  current  ::)
