More Legends Spits Pt 1

Went a bit snap happy at Duxford over the weekend when the Spits took to the skies. Some shots to compliment Mic's excellent photos from last Saturday...

Indeed I have. A Canon 70-300 IS. Still getting used to it. There was some dude at the show with a lens that resembled a bazooka! Was grey so I guess it was one of the L lenses. Sould have taken a shot of it.

Lots of 600mm L lenses about at Duxford.....

How does the IS handle.....I use the same lens without the stabilising......

It's a cool lens. I have no trouble with IS setting 1 (stabilisation in all directions) but get a few blurred shots on setting 2 (stabilisation only in direction of camera motion). Am not sure whether I'm panning too slow or too fast?!?!?!?! Gonna have to test both theories!

I have the same lens, I was considering getting the 100-400 IS, because Oshkosh is next week, but after seeing Yours & Mics pictures, I guess the 100-300 will be O.K. BTY, Great shots.  Mark
