How many guys on the team ?......I'm sure it would take more than one person to do the entire job in short time....... :-?
The night shift (me) did the cross dressing

Another reason it took so long, was that this dress was  a V2500  and not a CFM56. The 56 can be changed by 3 people, the V2500 is a pig from start to finsh.

Ahhhh the stockings and suspender belt ment you needed a bit of help ....... and you needed more help because the V2500 buttons  up the back .... as opposed to the CMF56 dress buttoning up the front.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Na, CFM56 has a nice zip ;D

Matt

PS Oh how quick an innocuous (cross dressing) remark can change the whole direction of a thread ;D

You have been the victim of me being home on a Friday night with large quantities of beer  ;D ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Jeez, that looks like a serious big puzzle! Should I be alarmed by the 19h shift? I mean, shouldn't you guys be VERY concentrated in regards to connect every little part as good as intended? After 19 hours you must be very tired!

Tired, you bet and in need of a beer before bed too. That is an example in the extreme. It is not a regular thing, normally I work an 8 hour shift like the rest of you, saying that I have just got in after having worked an 11 hour shift. I had to remove a leading edge slat and replace a component in the wing. If you had to you would be surprised what the body can do if it has to once in a while. As for connecting everything, it is checked, checked again and then independently checked, signed off and stamped.
