After fueling and eating (snacks) at KGLR, and getting ready to leave... I heard/saw THIS !

And as I was taxiing out..  A C-47 came in.. Must have been some nostalgic, military event.

The place is actually called Gaylord?  :o

I climbed around her at KFRG last September. A lovely restored 'Fort, to be sure. :)

Just google Gaylord, and you'll find an amazing array of towns, libraries, compagnies,... with that name!

As for the airport name, I googled KGLR and it is called Gaylord :D

Michigan has a nice variety of town names to go along with Gaylord, we even have a small town called Hell...not sure who named it or how it became that, but if you look on a map in lower MI there it is.  Hell.
