Lens question

I have a Kodak Z740 and I'm trying to figure out if this lens is worth saving money for.

I also have the Z740 and I tried some lenses for it,  they don't work well. The edges usually blur, and get discolored, and the quality just inst that great. Add-on lenses like that are usually a bad idea anyway.

I'll have to agree... and 1.4X isn't that much of an increase anyway. Don't you have trouble stabilizing the picture with the 10X you've already got ?

I'd use the $150 toward your next camera. The extra, optical zoom and mega-pixles that $150 will get you is a better way to spend it.

Thanks for the input.  I've been contemplating saving for a DSLR but it will take a long time for me to save up for one of those.  Oh well.  Thanks again.
