This year was also the very first Ercoupe fly-in at Antwerp. This vintage plane is disappearing fast and those who love it want to bring it back to our attention, before it's to late.
There were 6 ercoupes, although one was actually a Mooney 10 ( Ercoupe with Mooney tail) and that model + the only exsisting Belgian model were placed in such a way that it was impossible to take a decent picture... a shame!
A German example, yet painted in US-army livery...
Bright and yellow...
This Swedish participant got a very warm welcome by one of the crewmembers... it's quite the trip in such a small plane!
A British gentleman/pilot brough in another gorgeous model... those little engines snor so nice...
It's a funny shape at start, but I kinda liked it...
