I'll see if I can finagle getting out there on Saturday. I'll stand at the end of two-five with a big sign that says "DON'T SCREW UP!!!" :)

Or you can just fly out to N40. Whichever. :) (Tomahawk burgers are on me!)

Won't have time to stop and eat; maybe some other time.
But if you think you might be at N40 that morning (it is closer to you, right?), I could stop there and say hi. If all goes well, Cory will be there too, and maybe someone else (I'm working on that).

Well, What happened on Saturday, I'm guessing the weather didn't cooperate. We had about 4 inches Friday night and I'm guessing it was over your way on Saturday morning. Mark

It was almost good enough to go Saturday...low but acceptable ceilings, no more precip... but the wind was still honkin' , and chances are good they hadn't dug out the airport (or the planes) yet. So I went back to bed.
Of course, by the afternoon, things were not bad at all... ::)
I'll have to try again next weekend...

Whats with the enpty seats????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I'm going up Saturday... how early will you have to leave Pittsburgh to be at 47N before 8AM?

;)

That's what's with the empty seats... ;D

Very hard to get friends to join me, most of the time.
And honestly, today I didn't want an audience, although some ballast would have been nice.

Well I drove all night in a blizzard, I'm standing on 47N at 8:00am, and there is no one around.  ;D  I hope you have better luck next week.

Gee... sorry about that... did they plow the runway? ;D
I was gonna call to cancel, but figured they probably didn't bother.

Talk about being bummed out!! :(
I was all set to go up!!  Mother Nature said not this time!!
I'll be ready the next time Sean invites me and I hope the weather cooperates next time!! :)

Oh, by the way Sean, were you celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Friday night.  You sounded a little rough when I talked to you on Saturday morning!!

By the way I forgot to wish you a
HAPPY ST. PATRICK"S DAY!!

 Cory

Would you believe I actually forgot it was St. P's day? I usually don't make a big deal of that day.
But fortunately there was a Guiness in the fridge... that was the extent of my celebration.

I was tired when I called because there's a guy who moved in downstairs from me who likes to make noise at all hours of the night... didn't sleep very well. So it may be for the best that we didn't go...
