To be fair Mic, that's far from true. Looking at those, there are a few that haven't come out. Looking at this first page, the first KLM shot is blurred, and having it vertically cropped is unnesscary, likewise the BA Connect, others seem a little dark and lacking in contrast. While the quality is better technically, if you don't get the fundamentals (both while taking and editing)right, exposure ,panning, contrast etc then that becomes irrelevant.

However, some of the shots definitely show promise too, especially most of the lift off catches (http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/M ... 3.0711.jpg for example). My suggestion would be thus, have a look at your editing software and see what it can do, it's amazing just what can be done with time and patience and whilst your out, experiment with exposure and improve your panning by following the aircraft all the way and keeping it central in the frame, since fast jets will be a lot tougher.

I'm just trying to be helpful, please don't take any offence as none is intended. :)

They were both taken vertically...As the landing was too far away I thought about experimenting with getting more scenery in...but it did'nt really work...all I was trying to say is that these photos are much better than if they were taken by my Nikon L3.

Also most of the pics in this thread were not taken in RAW, whereas the others were....I didnt spot that it had been changed :(
