Thought i'd seen the last of it...

Postby Helms » Thu Mar 01, 2007 9:04 am

... More Snow. There was alot of it within a few hours. I went to sleep at about 1:30 am, and about 5 am i woke up to the sound of some very loud thunder. The lightning was less than 1 mile from my house. Visibility is about 1/4 mile and the wind speed is about 20 knots. As of now it is still snowing really hard, and i'll post some more pics when it clears up.

Taken about 20min ago. When it stops snowing, i'll measure it again.

I wanted to get a shot of some lightning, but i don't have a tripod, nor do i know how to set the camera to slow shutter speeds. :-/

The first one looks very surreal. Cool!

That first shot is a cracker. :)

I think crackers of that magnitude are illegal here in Nebraska.
