Finally made it to the airport. My flight's been pushed back about an hour, and the gate's been changed, forcing to me to move me and all my junk just as I was getting settled.The guy sitting across from me at the gate has his finger all the way up his nose. The PA is so loud I'm thinking about going to ask if they can turn it up, as my head has not actually exploded yet. I think I just accidentally paid for a month's worth of wi-fi access at this airport. And now an alarm has gone off. I was about to move over to where there's an outlet (my laptop battery is getting low), but that seat has just been taken by some scruffy chick with "The Joy Only Bling Can Bring" emblazoned on the back of her trendy jogging ensemble (and no, she's not good-looking).
And of course, the obligatory Parents with Screaming Brat Who Will Only say "Shush!" Even More Loudly Than Their Child is Screaming have arrived, and are seated directly behind me. "Bling Girl" is the teenage daughter, naturally, and she's now fighting with Dad because he wants her to join them in noisily gobbling McDonald's chicken, but she will not eat meat.
Airline travel is sooo glamorous...
