Welcome to the Panamal Canal - Prt 1.

Here you are chaps:

Entering the Canal, after a two day leg from Ft. Lauderdale, was a VERY pleasant site to see land!

Onboard we had a specialised tutorial speak, telling us EVERYTHING as we did it, through the canal, explaining all the techniques and processes. Very skilled!

These trains are attached to the Standard ships lines, these guide us on the passage through the Canal. There is one on either side.

And this is the Gatun lake, where all the ships waiting to get through the Canal Wait, as we were the biggest, we had to wait near the front, and because we were only waiting for around 2 - 3 hours.
