Big Fire at Perth Airport this afternoon

Hey there, well while some of us were busy hoeing into food wine and song with our loved ones, spare a thought for these brave heroes, who risked life and limb, when a fire erupted in scrubland at Perth International Airport. A big hearty congratulations to the 6 pilots who worked tirelessly to get the blaze from spreading out of control.

Well at the moment, theyre unsure of why it started. but traffic was diverted to runway 06 for the rest of the afternoon to the smoke and the wind coming from 045.
