I made a new friend today

His name his Don, and he owns this Stearman. And I'm riding in it next weekend. Just a tease of my spotting trip today to Alexandria and Sky Manor. More tomorrow.

Are you sure it isn't Dom, and not Don? As in Dominick Del Rosso?
His old Stearman has had many paintjobs; last time I saw it it was blue; but this one looks familiar for some reason...what's the N- number?
