Another look at Vieux Charles... as you can see here, I had some schmutz on the lens, which of course I didn't notice with this $#&*@! camera. I really need a DSLR.
I know, I should've wiped it off before getting started...

The Jenny. Ahem. Well, she's not flying anymore; it's official. It's 80% original; only Hispano-Suiza- powered JNH-4 flying in the world, and it's been decided that it's too rare to risk flying it anymore. I'll make no comment, other than to say I'm convinced that the problem here was that she refused to be forced to just taxi back and forth like some worn-out hangar queen. She was embarassed because I was watching, I just know it. Very sad... but I saw her fly more than once, and she got to fly longer than, well, all of her Hisso-powered peers.
I'm glad it wouldn't start, though- it'd make me sadder still to watch her trundle up and down the strip, forbidden to take flight.
But cheer up, folks- my old friend "157" is hard at work as always, and we have a date for later.
Her dance card is full; I hope the weather holds out until my scheduled ride at 1800.
I need a smile like this one plastered on my face... look how happy this guy is. ;D
Next: part 3!
