An original Bleriot XI

An Abatross D.VA reproduction.
It originally had a period mercedes engine but the crankshaft broke early on and it now has a ranger engine. It is certainly one of the "meanest" looking WWI fighters.
This is regularly flown and is very impressive in flight.

A great, fully restored Tiger Moth that is privately owned but, it is regularly flown at the Aerodrome.

A beautiful Spad VII reproduction.

A recently restored original Jenny.
It is presently grounded but the reason why is not entirely clear.

This is the Aerodrome's Ryan NYP-Spirit of St Louis project. The Aerodrome was allowed access to the original to take photos and mesurements, etc.
They are dedicated to make the reproduction exactly like the original down to the last little detail.
It's impressive so far!
There is a controversy about if it will ever get FAA aproval to fly due to the lack of a windshield.
However, even as a grounded display, it wiil be beautiful.

That Spad must be new... gorgeous!

I love that Albatros- even as a replica it's getting quite old but it still flies great. ;D

Good to see G-ACOB there, in keeping with Cole's vision of just having friends bring their old airplanes to his place to hang out.
Hope they get that Jenny flying again- it's best appreciated in flight.

I believe it's painted as G-ACDB (I assume that really it is now N registered having been G-ACDB...)

Of course, G-ACDB isn't quite as good as G-ACDC (what a registration) which still resides and flies in the UK. ;) ;D

Nice shots. Really nice looking place, although I don't like all the trees. Not very forgiving! :)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

Yes! What would the Aerodrome be without white, silk scarfs?  :)
