TOtB wasn't the only hot thing in New Jersey..

Band started also. :P Last night we performed for our parents. My mom took some pics.

I'm in the grey shirt, behind the most right sousaphone (tuba).

With the Yankees cap.

Don't know what this was. I think I was calling after someone. :P

Ah well. Great show this year. Hopefully I can get some vids of one of our shows. :)

Nice shots.  I think the percussion section is the only group in band that actually enjoys marching band. ;)

Mobius, former trumpet player, not missing a second of marching band. ;D

I've always like the sound of a marching band.  I also like the drum and bugle corps.

Because we piss off the rest of the band. ;D

No... it's because percussion is the most important part of a marching band. Imagine one trumpeter marching down the street: even in New Orleans, that ain't a parade.
But just one drummer, and- presto! You have a parade. ;D

Of course, I'm partial- I played marching snare for three years in high school... ;D

PS: word of advice: do NOT piss off a sousaphone player... that thing can fit over your head... ;D

So true rotty, so true.
You lucky sonofa.. you have 5 sousaphones! My band has 1, namley, me. And if the little freshmen piss me off. the bell goes over thier head and they get a nice loud pedal F.
;D

EDIT:
I noticed something else too. You get to practice on a real football feild. We have an 80 yard feild in front of our gym with about 3 yards on either side until you hit a parking lot. Makes it interesting when you are supposed to be 4 steps off the 20...

We had six last year. ;D And we practice on a practice field also. We played on the real field for our parents. ;) Our $900,000 turf field. ::) (No joke)
