Ohh that Victor's a beauty. Everytime I see a Victor I just become more and more impressed by them. I wonder if Airfix does a model...

It's a shame you live all the way down there in Cornwall, else you could get to the Cold War Jets open day at Bruntingthorpe this coming Sunday, with Victor taxi runs as well as the rest.

For example: all your Utterly Butterly photos in one topic.

Sorry, they wouldn't fit.  There's a maximum 500kb of images on each thread, and the photos are about 90kb each (the originals are 2.5mb).  If there's more than five images of that size, they have to be split into separate threads.

Now that I've got a decent camera, I'm considering getting a proper web page so I can post pics at full size.

Matchbox did one in 1/72, you can often find them on eBay.  I believe Revell now have one as well - it's probably the same kit under a new label.

I'll get there one day. Not this year. But one day. ;D

Ah, well, I wasn't prepared to compress them any further than necessary to satisfy the SimV guidelines.  In one case the Photoshop quality slider had to go down to 3 (out of 12) to squeeze the image below 100kb, which really hurt.  And I only split it into two threads when there was more than 500kb for each subject.

Of course I could have kept each subject to one thread and just restricted it to 5 images but I kept asking myself, why?

I'll probably become more discerning with time, right now I'm playing with a new toy and having fun ;D

And why not indeed. ;)

I still think you're missing my point. I'll shut up now.

Okay, one more of the Canberra ;D
Image

It had glossy black undersides, against that sky it was just a silhouette most of the time!

Nice to see it back in the air after its two or three seasons off... :)
