Not very often.......

Postby Rifleman » Wed Jul 19, 2006 10:09 pm

So there we were, talking 'bout test flying a friends new Savannah, when overhead, we heard the crossfield entry to the pattern at my local Courtenay Airpark....1800x60' of asphalt.......turbo sound, maybe even PT-6, and more than a single.......lucky for me, I had something in my hand to record it........how often can you stand within 100' of one of these as it comes in, back-taxis and leaves without so much as a "how-do-you-do ?"
Don't mind the heathaze, it was a very hot clear day......take note of the grass colour.....sun burnt !

This is what summer days were made for !

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

There are rumours of a gorgeous woman with a big camera in the area... they wanted to show off and check her out... all they got was Ken...  ;D  ;D  ;D

Great shots! Fantastic to see this bird in real action photo's...
