Had a go at a different perspective for the first time on the Sunday at RIAT. This yielded some very welcome angles on the warbird displays so these are all from that day...

Some pretty sharp images and still blurred props...well done.

I don't seem to be able to make good photos of the BBMF at RIAT. This year, as well as last year, they flew late in the afternoon when the sun is coming from the left. I think that's the reason...

Booooootiful. If only the BBMF would go back 35 years and put cloth hats on...

Very much so - although "similar" types (ie, the multi engine fleet) to the Lanc fly without helmets. Probably more to do with noise protection... ;D
