Goodwood: Festival of Speed (PT1)

Got back late last night from the Goodwood Festival of Speed, so I thought I'd post you a few shots this morning. There was so much to see & so many cars I didn't get pictures of.

We hadn't even got to Goodwood before we spotted this little number at the service station on the way:

I've just had another look at the pic Ozzy & I now think it's one of the rarer GT43's - look at the bubble above the drivers seat.

 The Gurney Bubble.

 The lines of the GT40 have to make it one of the most beautiful cars of all time!!  ( That's my opinion )

Did they really call it the GT43 because the bubble made the car 3" taller?
