Something a little different

Postby Hagar » Fri May 05, 2006 7:03 pm

Well, sadly the weather doesn't look too promising for Old Warden on Sunday. :(

To make a change from my usual efforts here's some impressions of the microlight "do" at Popham last weekend.

Hell, yes. Beautiful airplanes...
These are some of your best ever, Doug...how about the spiral-blur prop tips on that Yak... all due to your careful planning, I'm sure. ;)

I see our little "btch-y" friend is back; looking very relaxed...
And only an RV could pull off that oily-looking purple finish...
 Again, nice ones!

I'd love to get to see all you have here, Doug, in person....the pictures will have to do though, for us all, ....I do keep mentioning that you make us all as green as the grass, with envy.......?

Lucky YOU ! ;)

That Silvaire looks like it may have been a "BTCH" to catch with the sun reflecting up of the grass like that..... ;)....not really, just being funny...or trying... :-X

Amazing! I love em all, though I find the RV-paint a bit to flashy for my taste...  :)

Thanks for the comments chaps. There's so much excellent quality stuff posted here these days I'm almost scared to show you my efforts. ::)

These are some of your best ever, Doug...

Thanks Sean. Funny you should say that. I've noticed recently that people seem to like this type of shot or I would probably have dumped them.

how about the spiral-blur prop tips on that Yak... all due to your careful planning, I'm sure. ;)

Ah, I could sit back & bask in the credit but have to admit it was a complete accident. A quick snap shot from a bad position as it was taking off. I didn't notice that spiral until I got home. :D

PS. I'm beginning to love this camera. ;)

They're great Doug, thanks for sharing, the Silvaire is a real stunner.

Fingers crossed for Old Warden ;)

Ah well, the forecast looked pretty rainy, but they did mention that the southern half of the UK may just be more prone to the occasional shower rather than a full on rainy day...

I'll be there... :)
