So he could preen his feathers in the wet grass without getting soaked.
This displaying male pigeon was determined to either mate with or beat the hell out of anything and anyone. I thought I was under attack.
I was starting to get the feeling he was stuck in "puff mode", and was looking for help!
Still at it when I walked away; he next approached a guy and his dog. ::)
