Nice shots! 8)

That second one is as Falcon 50 (Dassault). If you don't know the aircrafts, this one was pretty easy though (at least for me), you can try to google them or try airliners.net . ;)

Yeah thats right! Air Moldova uses Yak-40 between Chisinau and Vienna.

That second one is as Falcon 50 (Dassault).

Perfect! Nearly everything identified! and yes, I will take a look into airliners.net (great site btw).

1st is a Yak-40... and not from Moldova as it has a russian flag on its tail
2nd one is either Falcon 50 or Falcon 900
3rd is a BBJ, Saudi Royal
Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and [url=http://an24.uw.hu/]An-24RV[/ur

Can't positively ID the last plane, but I'd guess it's always a good idea to test the thrust buckets before you need them... ;)

Very nice, clear pictures of aircraft I never see... 8)

Nice, I live about 2 hours from Vienna, might have to pop down there myself... any tips on the best place to get shots?

LOWW is always worth a trip, very busy, from 4 in the morning till 1 at night!

Red marks the spot where I took all those pics. The satellite image is quite old however, as the area right from the spot is now the general aviation area with a big building and a hangar. Green marks the airport fence; impossible to get through, barbed wire and a police patrol with dogs every 30 mins!
This runway is mostly used for takeoffs.

Image

Red is the best spot to watch the landings, Red 2 a possible even better one; will have to check it out soon!

Overview over LOWW.

And I just spotted this west of the airport! what could that be?
