A lot of weird stuff going on, US carriers turning into golf courses, Canada with its secret STOL aircraft, hmmmm  ;)

Rather looks like an old pre-WW1 prototype but it's actually for a Naval sneak attack. Choosing a complimentary spot, it floats in at night and tries to blend in with the local scenery. Enroute, it can remain stationary with all planes on alert below deck, disguised as an island; by the time the enemy gets close enough to question what they're looking at, it's too late. :'(
