Yeovil Air Day Part 3:- BoB Flypast

Continued on:-

Image
Underside of a Hawker Hurricane, a beautiful fighter, very reliable planes. Good job Sidney Camm!!!

Image
The best bomber I ever did see, the Avro Lancaster. A fine aircraft, wonderful sounding, and for a bomber quite graceful. It was almost magical seeing one of two only airworthy Lancasters.

Image
More Lancaster. [enter sounds of four merlin engines at full throttle here] Thats a peaceful sound.....

Image
Final shot that I have at the moment, of....the Lancaster. I like the clouds in this one.
(When the Spitfire pics comes up, the blurred ones were the ones I took :D)
Thanks for looking, more in about 5 days time.

I like that Hurricane shot. Slightly offset, giving it a sense of speed! (Do I really think like that now I'm in my 3rd year of Media Studies? :P)

Thanks also! Though it should probably be "good luck with your teachers". Finding all sorts of ways to make people think they are about to be chucked off the course...including not having a pen ::)
