grey sky, grey ship, white/grey planes. Awful combo for photos, but great pictures. ;D

Did you know that A12 is a 2-seater? no controls in back... it was actually used to transport VIPs and "couriers" (spies, i'd imagine). there used to be a stair-platform so you could look into the cockpit... I don't think the passenger had a window. Imagine hurtling along at high Mach sealed inside that thing... weird.

A Supermarine Scimitar of all things! I believe there are only 2 left in the UK, the remaining one is sitting right on that carrier!
