oh boy, someone who doesnt understand why football players have to wear pads.
You see rugby has these silly rules in order to protect its players such as restricting the types of tackles your allowed to use. In football these guys run head first into each other quite often with a force alot more than any rugby tackle. Next the size of these guys, i read the average weight of a rugby player is 185lbs, sure you get some 220 to 240 but those are few and far between. 220 is your average player weight for American football. those guys on the line of scrimmage there, all weigh 270lbs+ you got a 250lb linebacking corp and a bunch of receivers and corners running at full speed all 200+lbs. Alot of beef and muscle.

anything short of NFL Europe is not proper american football. done it a couple of times and its just organised chaos run by people who know nothing about the game.Ive also played proper American football in a match once
