Well Doug, it's a fairly new contraption called an "electrical guitar". That's E-L-E-C-T-R-I-C-A-L! You need some ELECTRICITY to use it... but don't run to the grocers yet, you need a whole bunch of cable to hook it up to the main net, that is connected to a POWERPLANT. Now I'll stop, before I scare you away with these new modern concepts. If you want to know more, pick up the PHONE, you know, that new ....

Cop a load of this. Taken in the mid-Sixties. Hagar & his electric band.* No prizes for guessing which one's me & no jokes about the group's name. I've heard them all before. :P :D

Image

*PS. That's not a bad name for a group. ::) ;)

PPS. Those Strats would be worth their weight in gold now & the Burns Black Bison bass guitar is an even rarer beast.

Now, this is really scarry! :o
It was taken in '74. That's me playing bass..... a "pre CBS Precision". ;D

Let's see.......I had a reworked Ampeg B25B cabinet with a very early Peavy bass head. It actually sounded quite good.
