Yes, you're right; it's on the wingtip; it's just a pitot tube. Stupid of me. But I guessed what plane it was, on the first try!! And the Vultee!  Pretty good, huh?
So where's me coconut, then? Well? Is it floating across the Atlantic as we speak, or ...?

Well I got to concur it is a Pitot Tube.

I checked several other sites plus the one Doug posted and that is what it is.
