Nice shots!!  The P-47 is my plane.  Most people like the P-51 but the P-47 is my fighter of choice.

Wow, Doug looks pretty good. Especially for being dead for forty years. ::)

Nice shots, Dave. I remember seeing Jacky's Revenge at Millville two years ago. I have shot posted a few pages back. A great aircraft. :)

oohhh, I LOVE that Warhawk!  That is a beautiful plane!

And all your other shots are great too!
The day is always better when you're flying upside down.

Nice one Dave. That little girl of yours is a real charmer. I bet she can twist her dad round her little finger. ;)

Goody goody... those little twinkling eyes don't predict anything good about the little girl about to man the nose-gunner position... I just hope there weren't any german/Japanese planes around.... BRATATATATATATATATATATATA.... Kaboum.... big hole in Fly2e's wallet...

Thank for all your replies!
I went to the beach about a mile from my house Monday morning with my wife and 2 daughters.
Barbara was wondering why I was rushing all of us out the door at 8:30 in the morning.

The reason..............

Both the Liberator & B-17 take off and head straight North over my house to the beach, then turn East and follow the cost.

So there I was waiting. The sky was bright blue, there were a few white clouds in the sky and a light wind. I sat on the beach with my girls waiting and looking.................
Barb kept saying, what are you looking for?

Finally!! There there were!

Thanks Felix!

She loved it!!

I think I went through the B-17 maybe 6 times.
"Daddy, let's do it again"!

We would climb a ladder up in the front into the gun turret area, then slide under some metal and come up behind the flight deck. There we would navigate around the navigation room, over some more metal and walk across a "catwalk" into another section. Or was that the Liberator. I do remember climbing around & over the "ball" that hung below the belly!
She thought she was in a playground! Me, I knew I was walking through history,...  ;)
