Tacits Airventure Pt.3: More Warbirds

Postby TacitBlue » Thu Aug 04, 2005 10:33 pm

Alright, as promised here's some more old war-planes. I adjusted a few of these for brightness and I hope they look OK. I'm worried that the first one is a little washed out.

P-40. There were three or four of these all in a line, really cool to see. Unfortunately I couldn't really get a picture of the whole line because there were to many people around them, even early in the morning

One of several P-51s.

Glacier Girl! The best shot I could get.

Image
The nicest looking T-6 I have ever seen. What was the Navy designation? SN-6?

Image
That B-25 again. This one was taken during the bombing demonstration.

OK, more tomorrow. I'm thinking either home-builts, or display aircraft.

Yep, very nice indeed. I love those P-40s & the (A)T-6 Texan (Harvard as I know it). The US Navy designation is SNJ.
