Some I missed in the air

Postby Hagar » Fri May 13, 2005 11:02 am

I'll miss the Sunset Display at Old Warden this weekend* so I thought I'd post a few static shots from Duxford last Sunday to make up for it.

Carolyn Grace checking her Spit before leaving for another display, probably Southampton.

Duxford now has another two-seater. First time I've seen this.

A couple of my favourites from after the show.

*PS. Never mind. Weather doesn't look too promising anyway.

Lovely shots Doug. I know it hard to focus on fast moving subjects in the air when they are coming or going, but to be able to shoot these up close and moving slowly, makes for very nice images........

Lovely Doug. 8) I like the sky as a background in the last one. It is almost black.

You know, I would prefer to see photos on the ground as opposed to in the air.  There's more detail that way.

BTW, Doug, what is it with you and Wildcats?  :)  If you want to talk about an ugly fighter plane.  I want to laugh every time I see one.  ;)

I wouldn't call it any more ugly than other US radial engined fighters.
