hi all,
these pics show the AN124 as it backtracked towards the terminal. sorry for the bad quality but this was a chance in a lifetime. plus, my house was right in front of the airport. enough now, the pics:

Hi Ashar. Here's your shots. Very interesting. ;)

The originals are way outside the forum limit & liable to be deleted. I took the liberty of resizing them & also quickly enhancing them a little. They have different file names to yours so I can remove them if you don't like what I've done.

Don't apologize about the quality- it's a "moment" thing, and you captured it well. Reminds me of the time I was woken up by a terrible racket only to see, just a few blocks away, a Sikorsky S64 Skycrane lifting enormous A.C. units onto the roof of a 20-story building.  I had no film (damn!) but those would've been cool shots even if they were poor quality.
What a beast that airplane is!!
