nobody broke 500mph this year, because the weather was so bad, it was raining on 1 side of the course, snowing in the mountains, and cold, windy, and clear in the stands

Sounds like a strange weather pattern.  You would think with all the heavy metal going around the course as fast as they can, it would clear the weather right up!  I bet it was still a good time.  I can't wait to go back.
