Sunset Air Display

Postby Hagar » Sat Sep 11, 2004 6:03 pm

.... or Old Warden revisited. An evening show to mark the last Shuttleworth flying display of the season. The weather wasn't ideal but I had to be there. Nothing like the perfect weather we had last weekend. Far too windy for the Edwardian flying machines but at least the rain held off. The changeable light conditions made for some unusual shots. Here's a few I quickly cropped/resized with IrfanView.

A rare visitor, The Beech Staggerwing. This is owned & flown by the same chap as P-51D Jumpin' Jacques.

This is the view of the Avro Tutor I missed last weekend.

Wonderful shots Doug...Glad you had a great day out.

Nice to see so many bi-planes flying and hopefully kept in tip top shape or ship shape Bristol fashion.

Thanks for posting all :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
