Wow, great pic of Fat Alberts JATO takeoff!  Awesome!  Man, isn't that just amazing to see?  You just don't expect an airplane like that to pull off a 45 degree climbout to 1,000 feet! lol   Did they also do the steep approach.  A maneuver like that REALLY puts your stomach in your throat! lol  I also like the third one, the clouds in the background really make it unique!

lol  Aaawww yeah, that's what I'm talkin' about.  I saw that for the first time this year.  (Never seen Fat Albert do a show before) and when I saw that, just about choked!

Oh, and have you seen Fat Albert do the JATO takeoff in the evening?  WOW!   Now THAT was freakin' awesome! lol  Sparks shooting everywhere, even set the grass on both sides of the runways on fire!  (Well, actually they did all 3 days... but the in the evening it was even more impressive)   Dang, you definately don't wanna be anywhere near when those things go off... even as he was leveling off you could see sparks almost reaching the ground!

Same here simply amazed when I saw Fat Albert perform.
I was lucky I went to both days of the show at Peoria, so the second day I had a little better timing of the shots :)
Great photos Savas!!

Again Very Nice Stephen...it is nice to see the C130 with Jet Assisted Take Off...we don't use it here much, as a matter of fact I can't remember when we used JATO on the Hercs.
Dam, maybe my memory is going  ;D ;D ;DLOL

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
