Back to the aircraft. Hello, what's this then?
The mighty Jug arrives. Think this is the first time I've seen one in the air.

And another one. Very colourful.


The ubiquitous little Piper Cub. This one's in L-4 Grasshopper markings.


Now for the Luftwaffe. The Bucker Jungmann. This put on a marvellous display of aerobatics.


A nice Fieseler Storch. Actually a French-built MS.500 Criquet with a Jacobs radial. I was surprised how big they are compared with the Piper Cub.


Unfortunately the promised Bf 109 (Merlin engined Hispano Buchon) didn't show up.

I love that Jug I've not seen that Merlin car before but I bet he needs a fuel tanker to follow him home. I wounder if it has a twin stage super charger

Beautiful photos Doug. I really need to get to one of these local airshows one day, pleanty of aircraft i have yet to see seem to display at them.
