Wicked Midwest USA weather and a couple others

I figured I would share the wicked weather we have in St. Louis for those that are not accustomed to seeing such insanity. This was a storm front that pelted the area I live in with hail, some over golfball sized. Also spurred a lot of tornados in and around the area,

Sorry for the spots on the first two. I had the windows open and the screen lifted up with the rain blowing into my house and onto me and the camera.

That storm also produced close to 100 mile an hour wind gusts. I tell you, it was FREAKING INSANE lol. Horizontal rain, broken and toppled trees everywhere, and I mean everywhere. A lot of roads were not passable, and sadly there was one fatality about 2 miles from where I live due to a big oak tree falling on an SUV with a guy inside it who got stuck in the storm.

If anyone wants a big windows media viewer file of the first storm that looks like that first pic let me know, I will email it to you. Its about 30 seconds long and was taken about 10 minutes before all hell broke loose.

LOL We don't get many ordinary ones here.  Wrath of Mother Nature likes to punish those in the Mid West, but I tell you, these storms are a sight to behold!
