I KNEW IT!!! when i saw this shot at the site you mentioned, i knew this one would appear here very soon and yes, i was right! indeed Pip, it looks small but what an angle!  :o  8)

Looks a tad fake to me. Almost looks like its from FS.

Nah it's real...but that runway is 150ft (46m) wide, NOT counting the concrete envelope. A 747-400 is some 210ft wingtip to wingtip. You can easily see the wingspan of the jumbo is greater than the actual runway.  :)

dunno why he is.
But i would imagine because they charge a ton to use their forums, and various other small things. I personally dont like the site too much because you just cant get your photos on there without paying $1000's on equiptment. I will say though that their new myaviation.net is good, instead of the constant photos you get on anet myav gives you shots you wouldnt normally see.
the pics cool though, apparently taken at 3000feet, certainly hope that the 747 doesnt climb out too fast in that case.:)
