Hey thanks Doug.....I had a bit of practice before this flight, as I had been shooting with it (my Olympus 2040) for 3 months and had probably 2000 images to learn with.....
One thing I have found about aerial shots, is that you get more reflected light than if you shoot from a more normal, "on the ground" position.....when I shoot back at the ground, I try to underexpose by 1/3 or 2/3 of a stop to help fight off this higher level of brightness.....as for the window thing, yes you are correct, the closer you are to the glass, the less likely you are to have some background reflection coming back into your lens.....
