A pebble beach!

I find then really uncomfortable to walk, or sit on!

Lovely Photo, Doug!

Nah Foz, sand gets in your sandwiches & all your little crevices. Most uncomfortable.
Plenty for all when the tide goes out. Having lived down here all my life this is my idea of what a beach should be like. It only takes me ten minutes to walk there.

I use a pair of these for walking on pebbles nowadays as my feet aren't as tough as they used to be. Can also be worn while swimming.

And one of these for sitting on. I like my comfort in my old age. 8-)

This is what it looks like on a nice calm, sunny day. It's not always like it.

Gee, and all I ever had was San Gregorio...
Soft warm sand, great surfing and diving, lotsa driftwood to make fires...
By the way, were you aware that this very beach was the first "nude" or clothing optional beach in the US? Some women take that very seriously and get fantastic tans...

And if you were there at the right day and time, you could get a very private little cave all to yourselves. Obviously I always had a female comapnion along, sometimes two, depending on how my highschool sweetheart felt that day. I would surf, dive for abalone and lobster, and there was always a ton of driftwood to make a nice warm fire to cook them over. Once the tide comes in, The Cave was a very private place to spend an evening   ;) :violin:
Just so as y'all know, it's actually a lot deeper than it looks...
